Dakota is just an average person in any average story. Dakota talks to you like an average person would, Dakota writes to you every day explaining his day, his feelings and that he wishes they could see you in person instead of a screen. Dakota writes more and more to you everyday wishing he could see you. But, your just friends right? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I really hope you enjoy this book, even though I'm not really good at descriptions I think it will be easier to understand once you read it! Dakota Foster's a girl dealt a cruel hand from the start of her life. A broken home, an angry father, and a mother who disappeared whenever life became too much - she spent most of her childhood barely keeping her head above the waters that seemed so adamant on drowning her. Now, at seventeen, she's become a cynic with a sharp tongue and an unapproachable demeanor that keeps the world at arms length. Thinking of herself as unlovable, she's never allowed anyone to close to her heart. Until Kacey Ward. Stubborn, relentless, with the warmest pair of eyes she'd ever seen. He doesn't scare easily, doesn't run when she pushes, and continues to chase her until the thought of a day without him feels unbearable. Loving him becomes something similar to breathing - she'd never really thought about it, but she needed it to live. But with her hard home life and father's addiction genes running in her vein, she's bound to mess it all up. ( ᴏᴜᴛᴄᴀꜱᴛꜱ ꜱᴇʀɪᴇꜱ, ʙᴏᴏᴋ ᴏɴᴇ. ) unedited
