Daria Vickers is a normal 17 year old girl who lives in Missouri. The summer before her senior year her dad is called over seas and she expects to go stay with her aunt as usual, but her aunt was given a job opportunity and couldn't keep her. So Daria's dad invites his best friend, Kyle, from his home town in Kentucky to come stay with her until further notice. The time he will be gone isn't determined. It could be a few months or a few years, but as far as Daria knows...Kyle is oddly attractive and she is pretty sure he thinks the same of her...
