Edward Elric's life in Central has been less than interesting, as the Colonel hadn't had any missions for him lately. Though, when Mustang sends Edward to a small town, a few cities over, he isn't exactly excited to go. Apparently the military wants to make an offer for some other young alchemist, but what makes Edward mad, is that he has to go get her. It seems like a tedious task, but its not like Edward can just say no. Why would anyone want to be a dog of the military?

A Shadow Of Who He Was (A Fullmetal Alchemist FanFiction)

8 parts Complete

(DISCLAIMER: This fanfic has elements that strongly relate to a similar story called 'Morphed', by WrathandRain. Check it out, as it is amazing and they used the general beginning far more effectively than me.) Edward has been missing for just over a month, with no leads to his whereabouts in all of that time. People are starting to lose hope in finding him. All besides Roy Mustang, Edwards commanding officer, Maes Hughes, a parental figure to Edward, and Alphonse Elric, Edwards younger brother, believe that the famed alchemist is dead. When they do find the answers they seek, it is not as it seems to be. Nothing is as it should be, and Fullmetal seems to be no more, a uncontrollable and unpredictable being left behind.
