Hanna is basically a nobody at school. She has one friend, that she calls her "best friend" even though they never really talk, so they start finding other friends. On the first day of a whole new year of school, she meets a new student who unexpectedly goes out of his way to be her friend. Hanna becomes alone again when all the popular girls start flirting. They sit by him at lunch, walk with him in the hallways, and leave her out of everything they do. That's when Hanna reunites with a guy who has always meant everything to her. She becomes the best friend of these two boys (and their 4 other friends) once they sort everything out. But where will Hanna find herself when her only two best friends both have careers that take off, leaving her with nobody to talk to?
