Forbidden Love

"Kiss me." He demanded. I stared at him not knowing if he was being serious or not. He couldn't be, could he?!?!
"I said kiss me!" he repeated. I froze. The tone in his voice answered my question; he was serious.
"Y-Y-You're" I stuttered. This was all happening too fast.
"Out with it!" he demanded again.
"You're kidding right?!?!" I wanted to yell. He had been known to tease me countless times; surely this was one of them.
"Does it looked like I'm kidding?!?!" he shouted. I looked around the room. He did have a point. Here I was in his room, sitting on his bed, with him right next to me!
"We can't." I said hoping he couldn't hear the edge of sadness in my words. I bent my head down and looked at my hands lying in my lap.
"Who's here to stop us?" With those words he lifted my chin and turned my head towards him. I stared at him, lost for words. Did this mean he truly cared? After all the other times he had messed with my emotions was this time different?
"Riley" I whispered his name. I couldn't bring myself to say anymore.
A devilish smile crossed his face before our lips met. My heart quickened as my body yearned for more. His fingertips brushed against my cheeks as he cradled my head in his hands. I knew that I should stop him, after all he is a prince and I am just a maid. I also knew our secret, forbidden romance was bound to be discovered eventually, but for now I was going to enjoy every bit of it.
