She was then invited to the party, hosted by a popular jock. There, she partied and got drunk. She also met Nathaniel "Nate" Reid, a friend of the host of the party they're currently in. They talked and interestingly found the company of each other comforting. They shared some things about themselves. Eventually, hormones started to surface and they hooked up.
