It was just a normal, boring school day for the kids of Gracewood Public School, until it happened. Without warning, a terrible storm came causing a catastrophe for the staff and students of the small school. No power, trees crashing through roofs, little kids crying, staff and students arguing among themselves. The once friendly school suddenly crumbling just because of this storm. It's up to Danny, an eleven year old boy in grade six, and Mackenzie, a thirteen year old girl in grade seven, to keep the staff and students together. Even though these two students don't get along well, they will have to learn to like each other if they want to keep everyone alive.
