When 17 yr old Seth Malcoms moves to Darchess, Maine with his mother, he has no idea what to expect. His worse case scenario, of course, consists of empty lunch tables, weird looks, and the rest of his high school days being branded as the new kid that nobody really bothered to get to know. Little did Seth know that his idea of a "horrible school year" would be stretched beyond boundaries completely out of his knowledge and control. When Seth meets Noelle, he is immediantly fascinated by her, despite the fact that she was known than nothing more than a school outcast. However, when Noelle's dark secret collides with the town's biggest mystery, Seth finds himself directly in the middle of it all.
