I didn't even want to look at him. No, I refused to even gaze at him. Yet he continued.

"I know you won't believe me but I want you to know that I can still remember the day we met."

Even if I had wanted to listen to him I couldn't. The ringing in my ears had made it impossible, it even made the world spin. I felt numb. It had seemed that even my tears had chosen to abandon me.

A broken harsh laugh escaped my lips. "Yeah right, not even I remember that. So why would you?"

Lilian Key is a level headed person who surrounds herself in perfection. Until she meets Reed Crown. A writer who is neither famous and barely selling his work, he has a look as though he just got out of bed 24/7, and can be a bit too stoic. Yet his grey eyes, rumbling laughter, and interesting personality has her captivated.
