one target,
two team,
and a load of trouble coming their way.

Ruby Johns and her friends are like every other teenagers. they hang out. they do each others make up. they watch videos together. but when they hang out, it's to pull a heist. when they do each others makeup, it's more of trading faces. when they watch videos, it's from eyes in the sky. these friends are thieves. or more accurately, thieves in training. Or at least that's what their parents claim.

Ruby is the tinkerer. she makes the gadgets, breaks through fire walls, and can break into almost any where. oh, and did I mention she is a shy, awkward, clumsy girl. Ruby is the one who stays behind. she never goes in the field, and she wouldn't want it any other way. but that all changes when she has a fateful meeting with Cody.

Cody is a confident, attractive, smart leader who just so happened to be leading a hit on the same target as Ruby. on the same night. in the same place.
but that's not the end. oh no, not by a long shot.

[COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. However, when she somehow gets thrown into the mix and is in the crossfires of a brutal mafia war that she has no business being a part of, things spiral out of control and she has to do whatever it takes to regain her freedom. In this hectic adventure of gun fights, torture, bank robbing and intimidating mafia men, Liza has to face it all, putting her average life on the line in order to defeat the bad guys and go back to her normal way of living.

You're right, Abby. You did see me. I've been showing up there a lot. Just to catch a glimpse of you. And until yesterday I've had no luck." I brush my hands along the clothes hanging as I walk closer to her. "So I sat there for an hour just to watch you. It was the best hour of therapy I've ever had." I take the nightgown from her hand, debating on whether I should put it on her or throw it to the ground. "Jackson" She whispers my name like a prayer. I close my eyes and rest my head against hers. "Say it again, Please." "Jackson" Her voice still breathy. Letting the garment drop to the floor i hold her hips. "You're mine Abigail. Do you understand? I'll never be able to let you go." "Then don't Jax." Abby's future brother in law assigns his cousin, and head of security Jackson; to be her personal bodyguard. She wants him to be more than that. "Shit!" I muttered under my breath. He pulled open the door and headed for me with a smile that made my skin crawl. I withdrew my gun from my bag and hid it under the table. "Ah Blake Reid. At last we meet!" He pulled out the chair directly across from me. "Who are you and why have you been following me?" I growled. "I'm the man who is going to kill you," he gave me a masochistic smile. I withdrew my gun from its place under the table. It was pointed between his eyes and I took pleasure in the shock that was on his face. He had only gotten his gun halfway out. The staff was still unaware of me holding a gun to this man's head because they were all around back in the kitchen. "Sorry, but that's just not going to happen," I said sweetly. "In such a public place? How brazen of you," he challenged in a shaky voice. "Yes, all the staff is in the back where they can't see us. Oh and if you didn't notice, there's a silencer on my gun. Say good-bye my dearie," I pulled the trigger and sent the bullet through his head. Blake Reid isn't your normal 17 year old. She's an assassin on her last case... or so she hopes. She is having difficulty with memories of her past and can't seem to get out of her shell, even though that is one of the biggest assets needed for her assignment. She will also face many obsticales; some of which she may not survive. Join her in the choas and death she calls her life. (Cover created by Vico96, an amazing friend of mine. Check him out!)
