After spending four weeks in a summer program for "smart" kids, Mollie doesn't want to do anything but sit in her house and waste away the rest of her vacation. Instead her mother tells her that she needs to take the next train to some random town on the coast, where they will be spending the rest of the summer. By note of course because her mother is already there. But as long as she's got a place to hide away from the world, Mollie doesn't mind.
But then she wanders into a random shop on the boardwalk and Mollie's summer takes a turn.Suddenly she's caught up in a strange group of friends, endless games, and a quest to find her self, in a very unexpected way.
