Kathren's life was never what she wanted it to be.

In a world with monsters and "half-beings", people with a demon or angel in them, chaos erupts. When Daron Wildox, a 16 year-old boy burdened with the guilt of his demon's murders, makes a deal that will get rid of his demon, he finds that he may have gotten himself stuck in a world of disaster. Keeping Kathren Shedlexky, a 16 year-old girl with an angel to guide her, safe from monsters and demons may not be so simple.
