Mature
A chance encounter will teach two individuals, who exist worlds apart, more about themselves than they bargained for.

To the world, Harry has everything - fame, money, and any woman of his choice. But his dazzling smile and irresistible charm hide the emptiness.

In a quiet Las Vegas neighborhood, Natalie HAD everything, and thought she lost it all, in a vicious act of violence. Now a widowed, single mother, Natalie's only focus is keeping her head above water, and providing a life for her daughter. She's a shell of who she once was.

Both want a second chance. Both are looking for something, something they can't quite put their fingers on. Something more. Something great.
**This is an original work of fiction, written by me.

Blair Collins is a spunky 19-year-old who desires to follow her wildest dreams and live life to the fullest, alongside her best friend, Delaney. After deciding to leave her town in Ohio for big-city Chicago, she expects to continue her normal life that consists of partying, influencing and modeling, and one-night stands--that is until she meets hot-shot club owner, Niall Horan. Turns out Ohio wouldn't be the only thing that would be bad for her. ------------ "No!" she shouts. "Just stop. You want to know why I'm so upset? I'm upset because I care about you so fucking much, Niall. I don't want to. Honestly, it would've been easier if you were dead, because then there would be no possible way for me to keep coming back to you. But you aren't, and I don't want you to be. That's why I'm mad. I'm upset and angry because I could've easily lost you, and I'm not ready for that. I don't think I ever will be, and it fucking terrifies me, because I know one day I will. One day you'll be gone forever." Multiple tears stream down her face as her voice cracks. She tries to compose herself by pacing her breaths and remaining silent. Unsure about what to do, I rush up to her and pull her into my chest. "I'm right here. I didn't mean for you to see that. This is exactly what I was scared about," I lowly whisper. "What?" she sniffles as I sigh. "Us caring about each other. I'm dragging you into my treacherous world and I can't. You're too pure, too angelic," I feel myself become overwhelmed by my emotions. "What are you saying," she pulls away from me. "No," she shakes her head as I feel my heart slowly breaking. "Blair, I don't know if I can be in your life anymore." "You don't get to make this decision for me," she hisses at me. "It's my life and I get to do whatever I want." This hurts so fucking bad and I have no idea why. ------ MOST IMPRESSIVE RANKING - #10 IN LITERATURE 6/26/21. THIS STORY CONTAINS MATURE AND EXPLICIT CONTENT, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Arianna Jo Coulter hates starting a new job, at twenty-five she'd been working as an ER nurse in her hometown since she graduated from nursing school. The problem with that is, she knew everyone coming in and out, making her job hard at times. One of the hardest things about being in a small town is relationships and when they end. Ari started dating Eric in college, at first he was so sweet and caring. After she graduated, got a job, he continued with his schooling due to his studying to be a doctor, they just didn't see each other as often. Eric started changing, yelling all the time, putting his hand on her in anger. So before it could go to far, Ari breaks up with him, decides it's time for a change, and applies to several different hospital's in bigger towns far from home. Problem is before she finds out if she gets a new job, her parents and younger sister are killed in a wreck, hit by a drunk driver. Now Ari is even more determined to move away. Harry Edward Styles loves his job, being the youngest doctor ever hired at John Hopkins University Hospital is something he'll never take for granted. He worked his ass off in medical school to graduate early, doing his clinicals a year before most of the others in his class. Everyone in his family knew his dream was to become the head of the ER someday, and at thirty-two, and two years of being considered one of the top doctor's at the hospital he was well on his way making his dream come true. The only thing missing is love, yeah he dates, on occasion, but nothing serious. Harry wants that heart racing, breath stealing, feeling you get when you know you meet the ONE. Until that happens he has his job and few friends. This story is 100% mine. I'll try my best to make any and all medical terms as real as possible. If I get any wrong I'm sorry. This is my first attempt at writing anything relating to this subject. Thank you for reading if you do. All the love, TopazRoze.
