Horse of the night

My mane and tail swayed in the breeze, snow soaked my fur as though it were water. My wings ached from the cold, my ears and eyes were alert. I walked into a dark forest, my herd behind me. I looked back at them one last time, then I entered the woods leaving them to be alone................ Forever more.
This is a story of a black Pegasus called Arora, she lives in the mightiest herd in the valley when a unexpected Pegasus stallion intrudes and takes away her very father and mother. He takes over the herd so she leaves to find her own mate and make her own herd.
