"Dad, why are we packing up our things?" I asked him. I didn't know what was going on.

"We're leaving," he replied blatantly without throwing even a single glance at me. What did he mean?

Mom retorted my bewilderment. "We are leaving France, Theseus."

The next thing I knew, Lanny, who was working for my parents since before I was born, was pushing me to get inside the car. 

I then started to cry. 

"But Mom, I need to see my Angel. I have to say goodbye to her. Please," I cried, pleading. 

Without preamble, Dad had turned on the ignition and immediately drove away. I squirmed but I had still managed to scream...

"ANGEEEEEEEEEEL!"
