Clara Jones lives in a socialist world. People are assigned how many kids of each gender they may have, and then they order them. They pick their hair, their eyes, their favorite color. And Clara is sucked into this by offering herself to be a carrier. Doctors transplant an embreyo and the carrier gives birth to the baby, than sends it to it's mother via a baby bot. Except things get a bit complicated for Clara. In a world devoid of pain, hapiness, and individuality, Clara's trying to bend the rules. Change the rules.
