The year is 2019. It's been 7 years since the Great Fires and Helium Wars of 2012. In place of government, Better Living Industries has stepped up to take over the world. They built the powerful Battery City in the desert ruins of California and have been cleaning up the Zones. But underneath the perfect, helpful facade is something much more evil: their true goal is to leach the population of their emotions, their need for people. Undermining them is a band of outlaws known as the Killjoys. Their associates are pirate radio DJ Dr. Death Defying and his counterpart, Show Pony. Steadily, the Killjoys have been taking out Draculoids, the police force of BL/ind. But now they have a new enemy coming from Battery City--the S/C/A/R/E/C/R/O/W unit, under the command of Korse. It's up to the Killjoys to defeat Korse, and annihilate Battery City, BL/ind, and restore emotions to humanity! Can they do it?
