WARNING: THIS IS A TRUE STORY ! On Tuesday the 22nd of February 2011, at 12:51pm. An unexpected, terrifying 6.1 earthquake hit Christchurch New Zealand. Over 240 lives were lost, hundreds were injured and 181000 houses were damaged. I was at school when it hit. I remember every horrible second. This is my story.
