But Delilah loves the demon. He was like the father she never had. And Jasper refuses to admit that although he's numb from the core. He wants to protect her and make sure she's okay. It's just the rules of the contract..

Twilight? anyone?) so i took into my able hands the job of: a. making Uri a better ML overall, he's nicer and more gentle which is what i strive for with my male characters in general. b. i gave a personality to Delilah. in the beginning, she was simply a face for my demons and mental issues, but when i decided to make this into a real novel, i had to face the fact that she was just.... flat-out boring and unrealistically blank (and selfish too... made me rethink my own views haha...). so hopefully this helps the book go smoother and everything. enjoy!
