Arwen daughter to Elrond, wakes up one day to realize she is in a strange place called New York. Full of strange things, such as a cellphone, and cars. She just happens to run into a Warlock named Magnus Bane. He begins to teach her the life of the twenty first century, while trying to help her get back home. They
soon developed feelings for each other, and she begins to question if she wants to go home.
--------
Does not follow Lord of the Rings or Mortal Instrument plot line. Magnus is not with Alec, and Arwen is not with Aragorn. This is purely because I love these two so much, and they are my OTP. So this is just for fun. Please enjoy.

VINCERE AUT MORI ➼ either to conquer or die. . . . The Wizarding World of Britain had long been ensnared in a web of arrogance and prejudice, its society blind to the toxic undercurrents that flowed beneath its surface. The pureblood elite clung to their self-proclaimed superiority, treating those of Muggle heritage and even half-bloods as lesser beings, while ancient traditions perpetuated the cycle of discrimination and stagnation. The magical world had grown complacent, resting on the laurels of its past glories and ignoring the cracks forming within. Hecate, the ancient Goddess of Magic and mistress of crossroads, had watched in silence for centuries, her divine patience finally worn thin. The arrogance of the British Wizarding World and its refusal to embrace unity and change had become intolerable. Magic was meant to be a gift, a force of balance and wonder, not a weapon of division. It was time to act. In her infinite wisdom, Hecate chose her instrument carefully-James Potter. A man, who in his arrogance lost the one person he loved above all- his daughter; a whisper here and there, a trickle of persuasive magic, the stage was set.
