Dear Daughter,
  
  Your mom and I got the news today. You're a girl. My baby girl. And I love you already.
  
  It's almost two in the morning and I have to get ready for work in a few hours, but I can't stop thinking about you, my little girl, so I'm writing you this letter now. When you're old enough, I'll give it to you. We can read it together. I hope these promises still ring true.
