This, *shoves MC in your face* is Strawberry Lemon. She is eleven years old, twelve in about a week. She was happily learning sixth grade history when a GIANT FRIKING SNAKE (?!?!) KIDNAPPED HER. 

Enter Wolf, an elderly wolf-human hybrid (think Ze'ev Kesly but a girl. And with a tail. And visible ears. And dark brown eyes). Wolf is dying, even eagerly waits death, but she can't die until her Pack has a new Wolf, who will be called, Pup. She is desperate. And she has chosen Strawberry.

Now add in a crazy maniac who wants Strawberry's place as Pup, and I have a half-way decent, half-way original, story.

I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.

A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
