Dipper Pines, age 17, has lived in Gravity Falls ever since his mother's mysterious death. Now living with his abusive caretaker, he and his sister Mabel are forced to perform for the town's tourists as magicians. With a reckless past and an endless supply of despair and regret, Dipper attempts to turn over a new leaf and re-define himself as the town's clean slate. However, things begin to unravel as the new girl, Pacifica Northwest, is placed up north for her summer job.
