Dean Winchester is a junior in high school, and he seems pretty normal, but, what people don't know is that he's gay. The only people that know are his little brother, Sammy, and his best friend, that's like a sister to him, Jo.
Castiel Novak is a junior, and comes from a very religious household, but, luckily everybody in his family accepts him being gay, and he's very open about it. Although, he doesn't have very many friends, and is bullied a lot.
Sam is mute by choice, and only talks to Dean, he's mute because of his mom dying at such a young age and his father, John, always told him it was his fault. Sam's in in 8th grade.
Gabriel is an outgoing 8th grader, and has a mission, and that's to get the boy that doesn't talk to have a conversation with him. Gabriel also loves candy

A college Destiel AU fic. Castiel Novak is 20 years old, and on the verge of a mental break down just about every damn day of his life. He went to college to live up to his mother's expectations, but he's starting to rethink whether or not he actually cares about that. Maybe it was the new found independence of living his own life? Or maybe it was the mysterious chat from a stranger that set him on the edge of rebellion.
