"I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. I took in a deep breath before taking his face in both of my hands and swooping down to kiss him. Mystique Amberson is a Senior in high school and lives with her older stepsister who has never had to work a day in her life and after she became eighteen, she started having guys buy her things. Since both their parents are gone and don't really pay attention to either one of them, they just send them money every month while they travel. Mystique can't wait for when she graduates in a few months because she would be able to leave finally with the money she has saved up from her job and be able to travel for a bit before going to college. She feels things are going as planned and soon won't have to deal with her step sister's bullying as well as her other school bully who happens to like her stepsister. 16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
