I howled in pain as the bamboo staff slammed down onto my knuckles.Pulling the blindfold off with a snarl I threw it to the sandy floor. Flexing ny fingers I looked down to make sure they were not broken. Throwing my staff down I tried to control my anger . "How the fuck is this supposed to help me ryder?" I winced in pain as I curled my fist my wolf ready to attack.
"Use your instincts you big baby! Learn to listen. Don't think about what I'm doing, try and sence it. Pups are born with more instincts than you! If you can't learn to trust your instincts then you have no right to be here." Ryder spat every word like a fountain of poison. He snarled and swung the staff hard at my head and I caught the staff as anger rolled over me. Ripping the staff our of his hands I snapped it in half. My brown eyes turning purple as my inner she wolf demanded retribution for his words.
"I may not deserve to be here by YOUR standards Ryder. However you are NOT alpha yet!"

An angry growl escaped my throat as my vision blurred. My wolf is taking control, and it's the bad one. She bit at me, growling and slashing, making me weak. I had to take a knee. But a rogue jumped in, taking my neck in its mouth and slamming me to the ground. I screamed as it bit down harder. It yelped. Looking up, Zander was on top, clawing at the rogue. He bit down, again and again, ripping chunks of skin off as loose hairs flew around. Let me out! "Ah!" I cried, "no, not like this!" Orphan Wolf

They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. Mate Pull
Bang! I sat bolt upright. Did I imagine that? That noise? What was it? I clambered out of bed and almost fell down the stairs with the panic that had set in. My front door was wide open but nobody was there, the wood was just swinging in the doorway allowing the cool breeze in my house. What if somebody was already inside? I hopped over the living room sofa, to climb the stairs yet again and as I made it to the landing I was thrown into the wall. My body pinned against it with a muscled form shadowing mine. A hand placed over my mouth silenced my screams that I was too scared to let out anyway. "I'm not going to hurt you. Just don't scream." It was Colton. His husky voice was a distinct reminder that he was my mate. The tingles that spread through my body made me hate but love the entire situation. I want him closer. "You don't run away from me, understand?" I nodded, he was really close to me and my wolf purred for him to be closer. I pushed the thoughts to the back of my mind as he slowly removed his hand. "What do you want?" I demanded, making the futile attempt to shove him away though he didn't move an inch. "I want what is mine." He replied with a low growl that sent chills up my spine. My back was still pressed firmly against the wall and I think I was in shock to move. Though I felt safe which made me feel sick, how could I be safe in the presence of him? "No." I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. "No?" He repeated my words back to me and I boiled the kettle for a cup of tea. My mum said tea fixes everything, then again it never fixed her relationship. "You heard me." "I heard you clear. I'm just making sure you're happy with that answer before I make you regret it." Colton advanced forward, pure dread taking over my body at the size of him compared to me. He leaned forward so his lips were against my ear and with a soft tone he whispered. ~read the rewrite, 'Celestial Bodies: Of Runts and Lycans,' on Good Novel~ #1 in werewolf (first time: December 13th, 2015) #64 in drama (May 11th, 2018) -unedited, first draft version. things are spelled wrong. i hate the main character and the timeline is a mess. read the rewrite. trust me- Xavier sighed and tried to move in front of me without scaring me into backing away from him. "It's okay little one," he said as came closer to me. I felt so tiny in his presence, especially in wolf form. He knelt down and tried to move closer but I whimpered and backed up more into the tree. He sighed again before trying again and I tired to put all my fears away as he once again reached out his hand. I put my head down, hoping that if I couldn't see him, I wouldn't be scared. As I felt his hand on my back and felt tingles explode, I jumped but then relaxed as I got used to it. I calmed down more as he picked up my small frame and held me close before whispering into my ear, "What has happened to you little one?" *~*~*~* Celeste has always been running. When she was little a group of rouges killed most of her pack and the remaining wolves ran, including her. Over the years they have slowly split off until it is only her and her mother running. When the rouges once again find them her mother spared her own life to keep her beloved runt safe. She ran, but eventually she could no longer run for her tiny body hadn't had the energy. Now she has been found by a new pack, The Paramount pack, and she is surprised when she finds her mate.
