This is just a story that I randomly came up with. We all know that Jamie is Melanie's younger brother. And we know that Melanie probably wasn't the only host that somehow still existed in her body, even with a Soul in there. This is where thirteen-year-old Laina comes in. She was best friends with Jamie when they were younger, but after Melanie and Jamie disappeared, she was forced to become a host. When Laina- known as her Soul, Autumn Skies- shows up near Uncle Jeb's house, things start to go off. Another girl, awake in her mind, a disease that was kept secret for years, and plenty of betrayal, surprise, and even happiness. Can Laina and Jamie- with the help of everyone else, of course- keep their worlds from falling apart, as well as tear down the wall that years apart have built between them? Or will the human resistance fall- and with it Jamie and Laina's hopes of ever overcoming not only the Souls, but also their confusing feelings? Set sometime between when Wanda wakes up in Pet's body and when they find out that there are other parts of the human resistance.
Not your average rejection story. Usually the boy does something stupid - and keeps being stupid - the girl forgives and forgets and gets pulled in by the mate bond. Ignoring all his transgressions because 'the bond said so'. Not this time, sometimes fate gets it wrong and sometimes you grow out of things; like love.
Vivian Clark is a mostly normal girl, as normal as you can be when you're more than eccentric mother is the head of a coven of witches. Something that; according to her, is a long standing tradition and more people need their apothecary than Viv realizes.
While Vivian practices magic and identifies as a witch, it's more of a religion than a lifestyle in her eyes. She doesn't know there are very real powers laying dormant in her bloodline, and very real creatures that not only lurk in the night but often lurk on her doorstep.
Trevor Erikson; a hot shot jock, a playboy, and Mr. Popularity, he could have any girl he wants and often does. Going from one to another and enjoying every minute of it.
Despite the fact that he's a werewolf and an alpha's son, he could care less about fated mates or finding a luna for his pack. Which he'll eventually take over at the end of the school year.
He doesn't take it too well when his fated mate shows up unannounced, and he does what any asshole would do. He rejects her at first sight.
How will the two manage with a rejection floating between them for the remainder of the school year?

A fast-paced romance with mature scenes, all based in a fantasy world. If that's your vibe this is your story to read.
This is my second work and I had to get it out of my brain cause it's all I could think of while writing a completely different book, there will be slow updates.
