"She's the prophecy girl." Those words echoed in her mind with her heart drumming wildly against her ribcage. She just fought back the urge to run away from all this mess she had landed herself into but "You can't leave. You can't run away from your responsibilities, your fate. You can't deny who you are!!" "What the fuck?" Were the only words she used to mutter but that too "You can't swear in our city. You have to follow the rules." What happens when she try to run away? Will she ever be able to find the truth of her past? Will she accept her responsibilities and fate? What will she do if she finds herself trapped in a love triangle? Will she ever be able to live her life to the fullest? °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°

❝Contrary to the popular belief, there's a very thin & fragile line between saying too much, and saying too little. More often than not, you'll find yourself unable to balance on that line & tipping to one side or the other, before inevitable falling. Whether or not there will be something there to catch you, that depends on how much was left unspoken.❞ There are things in life that we swear we'll never do. Some people pledge never to lie, others promise never to tell a secret; but of course, with a little time & persuasion, doing the action they vowed never to do is inevitable. Nearly everyone has made promises with a genuine sincerity in their hearts, only to later go & smash their promise to fragments with a sledgehammer- it's just what people do. No matter how hard they try & resist, if the thought remains bubbling in their mind for long enough, it's bound to boil over eventually Rachel Hale wanted to stay true to her promise. She swore she'd never go back to Beacon Hills after a fire killed nearly all of her family, yet when one of her two surviving siblings was brutally murdered within the confines of the town, she couldn't help herself; not after the arsonist who burned her life to the ground walked free. Alongside her older brother, Rachel went back to the damned town, & almost instantly fell head over heels into chaos- and took a whole lot of people with her. Before she even knew what hit her, she was fighting not only for her own life, but for the innocent people who didn't belong in a supernatural world like hers; innocent people she began to care more about than she was willing to admit. Unfortunately, for someone like Rachel who knows just how quickly everything she loves can be destroyed in a town like Beacon Hills, caring may turn out to be her biggest mistake.
