People are disappearing and no one knows why. No one takes action until the missing people are, one by one, being found dead. Professor John Bryan  has nothing to do with the incident, and quite frankly, doesn't care- until his own family members start disappearing. If he doesn't want the people he cares about turning up dead, he needs to fulfill a few requests from the kidnapper.
