Kawaii. It’s a word heard every day on the streets of Tokyo. Usually uttered by young women, it’s the typical response in Japan to anything that is small, feminine, childish or cartoon-like. All of which are qualities that half-Japanese Kiki Claymore has been told she embodies—something she resents.

When her grandfather, a former master spy, is killed in a car bomb, Kiki comes under scrutiny at NATO. Whatever secrets her grandfather had—now they’re in Kiki’s hands. She’s recruited by Task Force Ten—an elite NATO group of stunningly beautiful female spies. She’ll agree to join—if NATO will help find her grandfather’s killers.

When a wealthy German industrialist seemingly hijacks a nuclear facility in Sweden, it becomes a race against time to prevent the deaths of millions. But after Kiki is captured, she learns that the real reasons for the hijacking are more devious than she could ever imagine—and she’s an unwitting co-conspirator.
