Disease. War. Famine. These were mankind's killers. A virus created by a fascist government in Asia killed off eighty percent of the population. As a result the former nations of the world fell into anarchy. But out of this dark time came a group of people who, through their courage and persistence, created a society which would grow to be one of the new worlds major powers. The society's name was the Free Territory of the West.
When the original territory becomes overcrowded, August, a third generation citizen of the Free Territory, takes it upon himself to travel out from the border in hopes of finding arable land to create a farm to feed his family. What he finds will change his life forever.

Pandora's Trials
In a world ravaged by a virus and plagued by conflict, a girl named Pandora Meyer recovers from the virus that took her memories and lives with her father, Abraham, in an isolated cottage hidden by the thick forests of the northern peninsula of Michigan. One day, she saves a boy who says his colony needs help. The southern peninsula was taken over by a cult hellbent on either growing their numbers or wiping out sinners, and they want to expand northward. As she helps the northerners fight off the violent cult, she must figure out who she is and how to survive in a harsh, unforgiving world where one slip up will kill you. However, she soon begins to wonder who the real enemy is. They say the Pandora of ancient myth opened her box and doomed humanity, but can this Pandora save it? P.S. This is the rough draft of my senior project, so constructive criticism is very welcome :) Please be kind, I've never made my writing public before.Complete

The world has never been a favorable place for the insects. Permanently branded as a pest and a nuisance, they have faced an impressive array of threats to their existence, from flyswatters to pesticides to the soles of human footwear. Yet they endured. They endured, and they thrived. They took up residence on this lovely blue-green planet long before the first human stood up on his two feet, and they will be here as ever-present witnesses to the workings of time as our cities are abandoned and reclaimed by the forces of nature. At the height of our power, we humans did all that could be done with our planet. We mapped, we charted, we analyzed, we conquered. We tamed and we eradicated. We silenced and we manipulated. Yet we could not seem to put a dent in the thick-skinned little class Insecta. Kill a roach, and there will always be another to take its place. Find a termite and you might as well have found a thousand. Through war and peace, famine and prosperity, wealth and bankruptcy, the insects endured. We are no longer the kings of this planet. Poor Josiah. Poor, filthy, illiterate Josiah Mench. Not even Liam, the closest thing he has to a friend, can stand to be near him. The Apocalypse
The ice deep in the north has melted to reveal a new world hidden under the ice. It holds vegetation and animals that seem unworldly when compared to ours, but hidden in the deepest part of this world is another cave with the oldest surviving strains of an ancient bacteria capable of taking host of dead creatures and reanimating them into beasts worse than before. This strain had grown weak over the ages and was nearly extinct, but the human immune system, never being exposed to this, caused the strain to thrive inside its new unexpecting host and spreads out to the world. It starts small, just a speck on the hands of a few people, but soon, it spreads to door handles, pens, books, chairs, things like that. It continues spreading and now has infected its first corpse, the remains of an ant. This new creature comes and spreads to that ant's nest and then to the animals that eat them. Before less than a month passed, the virus had spread to a graveyard in the hidden grottos of the Yukon. This virus, now able to think from the new minds of fresh bodies, can strategize. In only another week, the epidemic had spread to the northern edge of the United States. Spreading further and further in, people began to notice this strange happening. From people disappearing to entire towns popping out of existence, the bacteria continued to spread. To keep order, the governments had those who disappeared erased from existence, but it wasn't enough. The takeover of those long gone happened in less than three weeks and society collapsed. Spreading overseas, it began its removal of life in Europe, but that's a story for another day. We now come to those few remaining settlements in the collapsed U.S, now called The Crumbled Land. What does this new land hold hidden deep in the remnants of its former glory?Complete

First, the video came. Just 2 months after is was taken off. The next day MeToob shut down. The day after that the internet stopped working. Then the power left. Then, came the virus. It infected everyone that came in bodily contact with it. They will eat anything... even humans. This Forsaken World
After suffering a world spread pandemic, world war three and finally a deadly virus that turns infected humans into zombies, the human race is pushed to the brink of extinction. Uniting the surviving governments into a single organization known as the New Alliance, the last survivors of humanity turn there efforts towards creating a fleet of starships to search for a new homeworld. Just as things begin to look up a fleet of unknown space ships enters the earth's orbit and lays siege to the planet. Forced to retreat, the New Alliance evacuates anyone they can and travels into the unknown, pursued and hunted by vampire-like creatures with an insatiable thirst for blood. Those unlucky enough to be left on Earth are captured and enslaved to serve as both labor force to fuel the alien species technology and to provide them with there life's blood. As things look grim and hope seems lost, a brave officer steps up to change humanity's fate.Complete

In the face of danger and hunger, the so-called school beauties, police flowers, spicy girls, or rich girls are nothing more than men's accessories. "Survival of the fittest" rules the day! A female celebrity? Would you trade a box of pure, uncontaminated bottled water for it? A virgin girl? Will you dance for a packet of biscuits? A wealthy young lady? Sorry, in a world where even ants can kill, running isn't an option - only elimination awaits... The food crisis forces the surviving humans to reclaim land and plant crops for self-sufficiency. The once bright-lit squares are now overgrown with crops, and the buildings that once bustled with crowds have turned into pigsties. The world ceased to exist, thanks to nuclear armageddon. Dangerous People [COMPLETED]
They said that "Changing is part of LIFE.", at least that's what the CSD (Change and Save Department) used to say. They thought they created a "cure". A cure to save many people's lives from sickness, cancer, and all. Unfortunately... They were wrong. It was fine at first... However, their first test subject? It was for no good. Instead of a cure, they made a "virus". The virus is incurable for now. Many people protested against the CSD and the government. It changed.. but it was never saved... They said that once they bit you, in an hour the virus will spread throughout your body and kill you, then you'll be alive but not like you used to be. There are many survivors, but there are also many who have been turned into monsters. They call these monsters, "zombies". The CSD promised that they'll find a cure, but much-lost hope, lost hope for being alive, lost hope for survival. A 17 yrs. the old girl was in between that. Everything might sound and look horrible but she never lost hope for survival. "I'm running out of food.." she kept on talking to herself since there was no one but her. She saw a grocery store nearby so she checked it out if there were food, and fortunately, there was. She stuffed the food in her bag until she heard something. "Is someone there?" She asked, she hoped it wasn't what she thought about but there it was. The zombie's legs were twisted so it will have a hard time catching her. However, she never encountered that close. She stuffed the last food in her bag and ran. She ran to the girl's restroom. When she opened the door there were zombies! It almost caught her but fortunately, nothing happened to her. She ran back but there were more! "Please don't say this is how I'm going to die!" She said to herself. Is she going to die? Who will she meet? Will they survive this cruel world??
