This book is about Aurora O'hurn and her little brother Sampson.
Aurora couldn't find anything else that she could use has self defence so she pulled out her knife and held it at her side. She walked out of her room going down the long hallway that separates her room from everyone else in the house. Aurora turned around the corner to see blood, a trail of blood to be exact, she looked all around for the source of the blood, but she couldn't see where it was coming from. Aurora started to follow the blood trail, there was another bang and a scream to go along with it. Aurora started to walk faster and came to a stop at her parents bedroom. Aurora looked at the blood trail again seeing that it actually did stop at her parents room. Aurora took a deep breath and opened the door to her parents room.

Harold threw the knife it penetrated Jack's arm. "Ah!" Jack groaned it pain. Harold shoved Jack, and he stumbled backwards and fell on his back, trying to stop the blood from leaking out of his arm. The "Please..." I hear her whimper and I go into full panic mode. "Calm down, okay? Deep breaths. Don't hang up. I'll be with you soon. Where are you?" I rush as I grab the car key sitting on the glass table. I run into the garage with my dad behind me. "What do you need?" Dad asks "A room. A big one." He runs back inside as I hear her voice again. It's okay, you're okay" I murmur reassuring words to her, thankful that there's no traffic. Several thoughts run through my mind as I drove to her house. The last time we spoke, she could barely stand me, but now she's calling me. I feel kinda used, but now's not the time to think about that. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language.
