This book is about Aurora O'hurn and her little brother Sampson. Aurora couldn't find anything else that she could use has self defence so she pulled out her knife and held it at her side. She walked out of her room going down the long hallway that separates her room from everyone else in the house. Aurora turned around the corner to see blood, a trail of blood to be exact, she looked all around for the source of the blood, but she couldn't see where it was coming from. Aurora started to follow the blood trail, there was another bang and a scream to go along with it. Aurora started to walk faster and came to a stop at her parents bedroom. Aurora looked at the blood trail again seeing that it actually did stop at her parents room. Aurora took a deep breath and opened the door to her parents room. To see what else happens go ahead and read my book! (and by the way, I just pulled that paragraph randomly from the story, so don't be mad if that's not the first thing that pops up on your screen.) Thank you and enjoy!!

Reader discretion is advised. *****This has been edited from the original story (Previously Auras) ***** Aurora was a normal college student working towards a business degree until she went to a party that changed her life. Everyone she knew and cared about was murdered in a twisted idea of fun, she was the only survivor. Quickly dumped into a world of supernatural Aurora must find her place despite the fact a possessive werewolf seems to want to tell her what to do. Can she adjust or will she crumble under the pressure? Excerpt: The screams and cries for help faded while silent tears continued to stream down her face. Her hands were slapped over her mouth to muffle any noise that escaped her quivering lips. She wasn't sure how long she was in that pantry but couldn't come out until she was beyond certain that they had left. For a moment, she started to have hope that maybe they wouldn't be able to find her, but a voice spoke up, and fear flooded in once again. "You cleared out the upstairs, too, right?" "Yeah." Another voice responded. There was a slight pause, "Hmm. Then where is that heartbeat coming from, I wonder." His voice had a sickening amusement to it, and her heart rate uncontrollably spiked with the adrenaline pumped through her veins. Was he talking about her? The thought that he could hear her heartbeat was crazy. It just wasn't humanly possible. Footsteps grew closer to the kitchen. Somehow, they had found her. She said one last prayer and goodbye to her life as the pantry opened. "Boo." The man yelled, peering in at her. She was frozen. There was nothing more she could do. She was going to die. "Little Birdy," he stretched out his hand, "come out to play."
