This is a story about a 10 year old girl named Leah who met her best friend laying in a hospital bed. It started out as a trip to the hospital to sing to the patients but after a couple of days the girls find them self in a close friendship. Leah and her cancer besti Mae face a lot in there journey until it comes to an end

"How many romance books do you read?" Devin asks me. I shrug. "I like them," I say. I keep browsing, running my fingers along the spines. "So, you like romance then?" he asks me. I nod. "What's your favorite part of a love story?" "I like the very first kiss, but I like the second one even more," I say. I bite my lip and look at him. Oh. My. God. What the hell am I doing?
