Never knowing what real fear feels like, the people of Corajoso take joy and pleasure in the feeling of fear.

Thea realizes how treacherous her society is after an experience in the woods. A venture out into the woods one day creates real fear in her mind, her body, and she understands now that the world she lives in is twisted. Thea is now trying to form a group to change the rules.
