A bastard with no hope, nor love or family. That is what Vincent was told at day one. He roamed the streets as a child before events led him to being a blacksmith's apprentice.
Siloru is filled with disgust in some parts, and others it's filled with life and greenery. It's the capital of the country and the city in which Vincent Wayes was raised in under the rule of the Golefre Dynasty.
His world was completely different than what it should have been. His father was alive and well, because Vincent father was King Thomas Golefre and now a second war was on its way.
When the hot summer and a scorching war comes barreling down on Siloru, Vincent comes to terms with the things he'd seen only in fairy tales. Dragons and goblins are used as weapons and pawns, making this war, the most devastating yet.
Vincent has to pull together, slowly gaining recognition as he steps up to save the country from collapsing. And this is the perfect time to do it.

But what her sister did not know then was that the awakening pill would never reach her sister and that her husband would never allow her to see her sister again. Until one day when her husband used her sister and uncle as scapegoats. Seeing her beloved uncle being killed and her sister being next. She ran over and blocked the blow for her sister. Seeing this Zan Cui picked her up and ran away with her into the forest behind the royal palace. But they were never able to escape, so Zan Cui, picked up a treasure that she found. That would grant 1 wish for a price, she used it hoping that it would send them back before everything started.
