Valentina Faye Martinez used to be best friends with the schools bad boy in middle school. His name is Ryder Rhodes. When one day Valentina`s boyfriend is being rude and Ryder sticks up for her. Suddenly she feels a lot closer and then her least favorite teacher sticks them together for a project. Ryder seems hesitant when she asks to work at his house and everyday he would show up with another mark that Valentina does not think is welcome to invade his beautiful face. Valentina knows something is up with all these scars and bruises on this beautiful bad boy player who brought home another girl every night. Valentina will stop at nothing to find out what is happening to her ex- best friend and what the reason is for him leaving them.
