Chris' little sister is best friends with Ghost, Angelo and Balz. One night while she's out with them something bad happens to her. She ends up going missing for a week.
When she is finally home, she's different then Ricky remembers. He tries to figure out what happened to her and that doesn't go so well with her protectors.
The more he tries to find out about what happened makes him realize the more he wants to be with her. When he finally wins her over, he falls hard for her. He later finds out the truth about what happens. She thinks he can't handle it. So she breaks up with him. He doesn't think it's over and catches her cheating.
He can't handle it and gives up on trying. Once he realizes what he's done he tries to get her back and prove he'll always be there. Will they fix what's been broken?

So having Chris around more often is wonderful for Sadie; mostly because Chris is very understanding of her and incredibly open-minded. When tragedy strikes, Chris is immediately there for Melanie and Sadie and instantly knows how to comfort them. With being so close to Melanie this often now, Chris begins to realize that maybe, after all these years, he might have been looking at her the wrong way, and feelings may be starting to develop.
