The Exchange Student

Sirius watched the girl walking down in between the tables with amazement. He hasn't seen anything or anyone like her before. Even a Veela couldn't reach this amount of beauty. She walked like a typical American would. With a slight slouch of the shoulders and an I-don't-care attitude. But she made it look like she was walking into battle. She made it look graceful. Her deep brown eyes studied everything with excitement, though they had a twinkle of mischief in them. From then on, Sirius knew that this girl was something different, something special. She was quite possibly a Ravenclaw or a Gryffindor - she looked smart and had an air of bravery. But it was entirely possible she was a Slytherin. When she sat on the three legged stool, her eyes searched the crowd. Before the hat could even be moved an inch towards her head the hat yelled out, "SLYTHERIN!"
From then on, Sirius knew he was screwed.
