What would you do if you found out that the world you live in is but one of many, and that everybody wanted you dead?

Jo lives a normal life in New York City. When the medieval fair starts once again, he spots a character not fitting the scenery at all. Not because she's not dressed up, but he gets the feeling that she might be the real deal. When he decides to follow her, he finds out that she wields magic, and that she's not even from this world. He follows her into a portal, which will change his life forever.
