Twenty-six hours. Doesn't sound like much compared to the average 657,456 hours humans live. But we must agree on something: when you want time to go fast, even a minute feels like a whole century.

Twenty-six hours. That's how long Alanna Kohler had to waste on a train journey from Barcelona to Vienna. She probably should have gone on a plane. She probably should have bought first class tickets. She probably should have never dated Travis Rhodes. She probably should have kept her mouth shut.

Twenty-six hours.

Twenty-six hours. After all this time without seeing each other, after all the heartbreak and crying... can twenty-six hours rekindle an old flame?

*****

She found herself sitting next to him.

Next to her ex-boyfriend; her first love.

"This is a crazy idea but hear me out, okay?" Alanna says excitedly but also slowly. "Let's pretend to be a couple. Just for fun; no drama, no commitment. So, not an actual couple."

He narrows his eyes at her while she looks at him expectantly; Travis Rhodes smirks and nods.

"Loving you is exhausting and hard. Give me a freaking break." he said. "Then why are you still here?", she whispered with a pale and trembling voice, holding back the tears that were willing to fall down her cheeks. Laura never wanted to fall in love with someone she couldn't touch - someone who only existed behind a screen, a voice borne by time zones and poor connections. But Evan made distance seem hazardous. He made every silence burn. "You could've stopped talking to me." she said to him once. "I tried," he said. "You just wouldn't leave my fucking head." Somewhere in between their late-night phone calls and the words they never spoke, something real started to take shape - delicate, wrong, and beautiful. But love such as theirs was going to shatter. It was constructed on waiting, on jealousy, on all the things they couldn't have. And maybe that's the cruelest kind of love - the kind that feels infinite, but ends the moment you wake up. Until Aiden walked in - the man who was real, present, and everything Evan couldn't be. Aman who had actually been beside her even when she broke his heart, even when she drifted away to chase someone who made her heart ache in ways she never imagined. "He doesn't deserve you. please wake up Lau." Aiden told her. "Then why does it still feel like he's the one?" she whispered. "You're crazy." Somewhere between what she wanted and what she needed, Laura lost control. Between time zones and heartbreak, between messages and memories, something between them had shattered. Because sometimes, love doesn't ask you to choose between two people - it asks you to choose which part of yourself you're willing to destroy.

A short story about a villainess girl who had gained knowledge of her fate. She didn't changed anything and had accepted her fate. Her 'henchmen' as a voice called them, are her precious friends. She knew of what their fate was and has warned them again and again for them to avoid it. ♧♤♧♤ "Just what is real Love?" a whisper of a girl. Images of her friends faces full of despair flashes her mind." Why must we keep on chasing after their shadows when we know that we are not their desiried person?" Years later, friends who are worried about her asked why she held so much sorrow and longing towards the person she's marrying in the future. " A foolishness that I had done causes me to lose all. I give everything for him and just have nothing to receive in return. You, my friends please remember my words. Don't be ruled by jealousy and see the real self of the person you're with. My sorrows and melancholy, hope you won't experience them." ♧♤♧♤ Author's note: This story was in my drafts for quite a while(they are flooding at my notebooks/journals and drafts in wattpad). It a waste that I might forgot the plot and all so here it is. Mainly I don't have much time (mostly procrastinating ) and I have lot of novels to catch up. So... this novel might not have decent updates that it might be on par with on hold/on hiatus stories. I just felt wasted on leaving it rot like some of my old stories. Again I don't own my book cover picture. Salute to people who have amazing talents. Status: Complete

Remi has always loved the forest, the different sounds, smells, the way she could get lost in it and never have to go home to her non-existent parents. She goes in and out of her life with her best friend everyday just waiting until they're both old enough to leave their small boring town. But one day Remi is attacked, and nearly killed, by a man in the forest. When she wakes up everything's different. She feels something inside her, a power, but she has no idea what happened to her. All she remembers is the man's strange yellow eyes. When three new boys show up at her school, one with yellow eyes, asking her question she gets nervous. And then one night while heading to go get her friend she's taken and thrown into a world she didn't know existed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Remi?" Jen says suddenly. "Hmm?" I hum back. "Do you ever wish you could just live in the forest? Away from everyone and everything?" She looks at me. "Free." We stare at each other for a long time. I see the real meaning in Jen's eyes. Her worries for going home to her overly strict parents. Her fears for the future and the unknown in general. "If we lived in the forest we wouldn't have gummy bears any more." I comment to lighten the mood. She doesn't find it funny. "I'm serious Remi! What if we did run away?" "Jen, we can't just run away. I know your parents are strict but I truly think they just want what's best for you." She says nothing. For a moment I fear she's mad at me but then she puts her head on my shoulder and I know we're okay.
