I'd run into his ankle with the cart. "Damn I'm sorry." He frowns. My sister has her I'm sorry face on. "I was goofing with her and wasn't watching where I was going." "I see. Is she yours?" It wasn't the first time someone had asked me that. "She's me sister so I do claim her. I've got a brother too, him I don't claim, he's got that whole older brother I'm always right thing." He smiles and chuckles a little. His eyes go to her. "You are a very pretty young lady." She grins and tips her head in her I'm so cute and everyone loves me way. "No she's an ugly little troll." I tease tickling her. She gives me her scrunched up fake angry look but laughs when I give it back. The guy I'd run into was watching us smiling. I blush a little. "Sorry I'm Angelo, this is my sister Anise my brother is Andy. My parents forgot about the other twenty five letters in the alphabet when they named us."He laughed. I liked to make people laugh. They'd forget about any trouble if only for a few moments and that made me feel good to know they were a little lighter as they went on about their day. He held out his hand. "I'm Zachary." "Ooh A to Z in a new way. Cool." I shake his hand and it doesn't escape me how he holds it a second longer and trails his thumb over the back of my hand. Ooh he was flirting. I give my best flirty smile. He was hot, why not. "Maybe we could hang out find new ways to go from A to Z?" I flirt. I watch his tongue sneak out and lick his lips as his eyes skim over me. "That'd be nice. Though I'm thinking you might be a little young for me." I chuckle "I might not look it but I'm legal." Just barely.

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target. They go around just bullying everybody and anybody who makes them mad. What is worse is when a person is targeted at the school the whole school bully's them as well. One day Rosette decided it was enough and confronted Duke, the leader of the H3. After that, her whole life began to change.

Don't get close to people or they'll end up getting hurt. That's my mindset. I've been through enough of that. This girl doesn't belong in my world anyway.
