Adela Josipovic is not transparent. You rarely know what is going on in her mind, but I am certain that it is dark. She thinks she is unbreakable. She doesn’t let people in. I know she’s scared even though she refuses to show it. She’s scared that if she lets someone care, they’ll have the power to destroy her. But I was one of the few who could see the real Adela Josipovic. When we were alone, I could witness Adela at her most innocent moments.
