Amber's a little insane. She lost her sanity the day she talked to the ocean, who she calls Max. Things get even weirder when he turns out to be an actual human. Turns out, Amber's other best friend, Ella, knew about Max. They have a relationship that they wish to be kept secret. Things are all going downhill, but what happens when things have reached to the point where they can't get worse? Amber's been rolling down the hill, watching friends and happiness slip out of her fingertips bit by bit. She manages to hang on for a while, but there comes a time when you just have to let go. Amber thinks telling her problems to Max, who she believes will take care of them and blow them away in the sea and make sure they never return, will solve everything.
