Pain. All he could feel was pain, from his stomach to the top of his chest. Bruises, they covered his torso. But no.... Never where anyone would see so no one could question. How anyone had found him out was a mystery, but right now Phil could care less. All he knew is that his ex was in jail, it was over, and that, hopefully, he would be safe. Safe and back home with Dan. Although he couldn't tell the brunette what happened. No. Never. It would tear his best friend up inside to know what had happened and he couldn't put Dan through the pain of knowing that, blaming himself for not noticing it. For not stopping it. Phil didn't know what would be worse, the guilt of not telling Dan or if the brunette found out about the abuse. Dan had a horrible guilt complex, he knew that, so decided it was for the best that he didn't tell his best friend about it, for the sake of his sanity and Dan's. Dan would never know about it. I tried to move back away from him but he tightened his hold and shove the gun farther down my throat causing me to make loud gurgling choking sounds, the taste of metal, fire and smoke spread into my taste buds causing me to gag, that's the same gun he had shot my father with. "Do you have trouble speaking? I'll help you talk my love, there must be something stuck in your throat?" He said shoving the gun deeper, by now the base of his pistol was pressed down against my lips as I choked loudly. I screamed and jumped in fright as he pulled the trigger. Nothing, No bullets were fired. The force of the gun shook my whole body. I gargled and shook my head no repeatedly, but he wasn't satisfied. he squeezed my throat and completely blocked my airway.
