Verena is a young elemental, scorn for the way she was born.
Torn between two elements, she only wishes to seek her way in life - but when her beloved mother is escorted to the capital for questioning regarding the war, she runs away to seek help from the rebels who fought on the opposing side, in a desperate bid to find somewhere she belongs.
She gets caught up in something much bigger, and starts to unravel the truth about her existence - as she attempts to find her inner self and make some big decisions along the way.

A Mage's Wrath
Two hundred years of peace have passed in Zertima, a land filled with magic, creatures, and mages. However, after those two hundred years comes an era of fear, fighting, and death. Jared, Mari, and Nadia; students at Trajare's Academy of Magic witnessed this wind of change the moment they opened that back storage room in the Central Library of the Magical Arts and a moment later when a general of Demintrea began a massacre. War ignites and everything changed just as those three countries suspected. Only, war was not the intended change, it was but an effect. The cause was those three teenagers discovering what laid hidden in that back room.
