You met Julius Caesar and he's a pretty (and devious) lady...? Forty years before Caesar's fateful crossing of the Rubicon, there was another dictator - one who set the stage for the empire to come. A powerful strongman who declared himself the savior of the Roman Republic as he burned it to the ground. What was he thinking as he shattered hundreds of years of tradition to march the legions on Rome itself? What about when he sank the city in mass terror as he put up his famous proscriptions? In the historical record, we are left with only pieces of their story, meaning to really understand what he was like, we had to be there. After the Ides of March, Julius Caesar's grandnephew is called back to Rome to witness the will being opened. To the teenager's shock, the will states he is now Caesar's heir in name, money, and loyalty to his army. Marcus Agrippa is loyal to Octavian, the heir to Caesar's name and fortune. But he is loyal to a fault, which soon turns into infatuation for the young Octavian. Marcus Antonius thought he was going to be Caesar's heir, but the realization Octavian is heir instead leaves a bitter taste in his mouth. Hateful at the teenager for stealing his glory, he toys with Octavian, trying to win his favors. Both Antony and Agrippa desire to be on Octavian's good side; ranging from gifts to secret letters given to the handsome faced youth with the curled blonde hair. Alarmed and flattered, Octavian toys with the men back, playing in their wicked game. (Note: In this alternate history, Antony never falls in love with Cleopatra. Both Antony and Agrippa love Octavian, who has to decide between becoming the first Roman Emperor or the first Roman Pharaoh once Cleopatra and Caesarion are dead.)Complete

"He's only tolerable because apparently my brother has bad taste in choosing bestfriends," as Caroline always says. Caroline Veronica, probably the only woman Leonardo despises. The only thing he loves about her is the fact that she hates him back. And the tension between them grows everyday as they are fighting for the first position in school. But then why does Leonardo feel the need to tease her and make her smile at least once everyday?
