At the age of two, a pup can shift to his or her human form.
At the age of twelve, one's rank in the pack is revealed.
At the age of fifteen, one's wolf commences to shift every full moon.
At the age of eighteen, one's mate is revealed.

That is how a werewolf's teenage years play out, and it has never occurred differently.

My parents have pictures of my second birthday that capture the joyous moment when they ultimately saw and were able to hold their son in his human form for the first time.

I remember feeling a surge of confidence the day of my twelfth birthday. Then, on New Year's Eve that year, an induction ceremony was held to introduce the twelve year olds and officially state our position in our pack. I remember feeling so proud to be announced as the future Beta of my pack.

I also remember the lack of an induction of the future Alpha.

The Alpha had a son, Kaiden, who turned twelve that year as well. It came as a shock to everyone when the Alpha announced his son's rank in the pack had not been determined yet.

For the first time ever in werewolf history, life didn't play out like it was expected to.
For the first time ever in werewolf history, a twelve year old werewolf's position in his or her pack was not revealed.

And from that moment forth, I remember continuously asking myself one question:

Literally. ***** Grey Weathers thought he was going on a relaxing vacation with his "friend with benefits" pal, until he walks right into two people that seem like the perfect couple, Dylan and Casey. What he doesn't know is that this couple are actually mates. Dylan and Casey are a couple of werewolves and their instincts are telling them that Grey is more special than he knows. Grey finds himself in the middle of family drama, bloody secrets and a plot that would like to see every supernatural creature wiped from the face of the earth. All this is a lot to deal with, especially when he's falling in love with not just one, but two people. Could they be falling in love with him too? Is that possible? To fall in love with someone like him? Cover designed by Ren T
