On June 16th 3018, fourteen angels flew down from heaven on chariots made of solid gold. These angels were called the guardians and were tasked with the challenge of defeating the demons who had obliterated heaven and had come to claim earth for themselves. Each guardian was assigned a number and a protector and they split up across the lands. When they came of age, they would learn the truth about their past, and grow powers called Virtues in order to fight the demons.
  
  Ten years later in the year 3028, the guardians find themselves in a perfect world where every breath is controlled and muted. There they meet their true protectors who will teach them how to use their Virtues to fight the demons. The only problem is that the demons won't show their face, and some Guardians don't seem to remember what they came here for...
