It'll Be Different This Time (Black Bird Fanfic)

In Kanoko Sakurakoji's manga series the main character Misao is thrust into a world of blood and demons, one that escaped her knowledge despite her innate ability to see creatures usually unseen. She is born with the ability to see demons, yokai, creatures from legends and nightmares. Her sight is a sign of her role as the Senka Maiden, a girl born only once every hundred years who is destined to be hunted by these beasts upon her 16th birthday, as prophecies and tradition dictates that if a demon drinks the blood of the Senka he will gain great power, if he eats her flesh then he will become immortal, and if he takes her as his wife his clan will prosper. How would her story be different if she knew of her destiny before the humanoid demons appeared? If the predestined maiden had a hand in her own destiny, her own fate?
