Edda is a normal sixteen year old girl. Back in 2016, when she was only twelve years old, her parents abandoned her at a water park that was aways away from her home back in Kansas City. She hadn't known what to do and ended up crying her way through hours and hours of waiting for her parents to return for her. A man, about thirty years old, noticed Edda and asked her if she was okay. The man soon took Edda into his household after realizing she'd been abandoned.
 Now that Edda has transferred schools and is in a new school with new people, she knows there's two important things to remember. One, guys and girls that reek of smoke are never good to hang around. And two, there is no one she can trust. Not one bit.

Jace Summers is not your average high school boy, per se. He prefers being himself no matter what anyone else thinks about him, and he's proud of who he is. He loves skateboarding and singing, has good grades. There's nothing overly unique about him- except his voice could make angels swoon. Both boys are different but not so different that you'd think they would dislike each other. Well, you would be wrong. They hate each other with burning passions. Sorry- hate is a strong word. They loathe each other with deep burning passions. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all because that's how he comes off to a lot of people until you get to know him, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying with how he presents himself. Those seem like small things that could be easily overcome, however it's also their encounters in the halls or in classes that cause problems. By now it's just mutual hate that both boys are too stubborn to give up. But when one day they get news that seems like the end of the world... it turns out to be the best thing that has happened to both of them. Not at first, but with time. Read to find out what happens! (Also- it is a mystery to even me how long this story will be. I'll be posting chapters as I finish and we'll see how long it turns out to be.
